Brahmasri Guruji Gopalavallidasar
Mahan Brahmasri Guruji Gopalavallidasar is the Sath Sishyan (disciple) of Pujya Sri Sri Guruji Amma. Guruji Gopalavallidasar is her successor in RadheKrishna Sathsangam (RKSS) to undertake Guruji Amma's mission of spreading the values of Sanatana or Veda Dharma, Bhagawath Bakthi, and Bhagawan Nama Japam.
Birth & Early Years:
Guruji was born in Tambaram, Chennai to the blessed couple of Shri. Ramamoorthy and Smt. Shantha on June 13, 1975. Just like any other child, Guruji had a normal childhood doing his schooling in Jaigopal Garodia National Higher Secondary School in Tambaram. Later Guruji completed his diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Chengalvaraya Nayakkar Technical Insititute, Veperi, Chennai in 1992 . After graduation he was employed at TTK Kiwi.
Meeting with Guruji Amma:
Guruji was around 18 years old when he went to Guruji Appa to learn yoga. That was the turning point in Guruji's life where he met Guruji Amma, his Guru. When Guruji Amma told Guruji to chant RadheKrishna, Guruji was very reluctant and responded by saying he does not like Krishna whom he thought runs behind girls. Guruji also tried to focus only on yoga staying away from Guruji Amma. With the passage of time and Guruji Amma's relentless insistence, Guruji started chanting RadheKrishna and felt the Brahma Anubava. As the divine wish would have it, Guruji was completely transformed with divine bliss from Guruji Amma. Soon after, Guruji started giving discourses as per Guru Amma's wish.
With the immense grace of Lord Sri Krishna and blessings of Guruji Amma, Guruji could prove in a short span of time that Guruji Amma was indeed right in her choice. Guruji, with no formal learning of Sanskrit, the ‘Deva Bhasha,’ or the Vedas from any teacher as such, has proved to be an exponent in epics like Srimad Ramayanam, Srimad Bhagavatham as well as Srimad Bhagawath Geetha, Divya Prabandhams, Bhaktha Charithrams, Guru Geetha, Naradha Bhakthi Suthram, Thiruppavai, Thirumaalai, Sanatana Dharma, etc. to name a few. This comes from Guruji Amma's grace, "Brahma Samsparsha" (direct contact with the Supreme), and not through 'Pandithyam' (knowledge through formal learning). Guruji happily quit his job to fulfill Guruji Amma's mission of propagating Sanatana Dharma and Bhagawan Nama Japam.
The spontaneous presentation by Guruji on any topic leading to Guru Bhakthi or Bhagawath Bhakthi can only be seen as radiating divine personal experiences rather than show of 'Paandithyam'. 'Paandithyam' can be acquired only by constant learning and practice for decades which Guruji did not. For more than 20 years, Guruji has been delivering Sathsangs all over the world. He started fulfilling this divine mission starting at the age of 19. The messages that Guruji conveys comes directly from the all pervading supreme power. A chance to listen to Guruji's Sathsangam is a great delight and fortune. Guruji Amma's and Guruji's devotees, and those who have listened to his discourses have personally experienced and realized that sincere chanting of Bhagawan Nama Japam, will erase all our sorrows and pain or gives us peace of mind (Shanthi) where it is bearable for us.
Guruji is married to Smt. Vedashri, and blessed with a son named Shri. Veda Sudhama. Guruji lives in Chennai travelling all over Bharatha Desam and has also visited United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi), Uganda, Brunei, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan on his spiritual mission. His upanyasams have been broadcast in All India Radio, telecast in OM TV, and Hindu TV Channels in Thoothukudi (Tuticorin). For the spiritual upliftment of devotees Guruji also organizes pilgrimages and takes devotees to various divya kshethrams like Pandaripuram, Brindavanam, Badrikashramam, etc.
